> I was invited by Kelly Salchow MacArthur to participate in a project that was part of her research program funded by Michigan State University. Kelly has served as President of the Detroit Chapter of AIGA and is currently a faculty at Michigan State University. Basically, she sent each participant a poster she designed (left) and asked us to experiment and discover ways to introduce dimension and disrupt the surface (right). Then we had to document it and send it to her. You can read more about her project and check out the variety of results here
. It's interesting how everyone responds very differently.
